MES-P3 Flight Type Dishwasher Overview

The MES-P3 is developed for large foodservice facilities that require continuous tableware washing and an integrated drying stage within the same conveyor workflow.

Suitable plates, bowls, trays, cups, and other compatible tableware are placed directly onto the flight conveyor. The machine transports them through the washing, high-temperature rinsing, and drying sections before they reach the clean-side discharge area.

The MES-P3 processes approximately 2,500–5,000 dishes per hour and has an extended machine size of 3500 × 825 × 1880 mm. Its 52 kW power configuration supports the combined washing, rinsing, conveyor, and drying functions required for intensive commercial operation.

Compared with the MES-P1 and MES-P2, the MES-P3 is positioned for projects that require both high throughput and integrated post-rinse drying. MAYERS can also configure the conveyor width, tableware flow direction, electrical standard, supporting worktables, and warewashing line layout according to the customer's project requirements.

MAYERS is one of China's professional commercial dishwasher manufacturers, specializing in the design and production of flight type dishwashers, industrial warewashing systems, and customized cleaning solutions for high-capacity foodservice operations worldwide.

The MES-P3 Flight Type Dishwasher is developed for intensive commercial dishwashing environments where maximum throughput, continuous operation, and long-term reliability are essential. With a washing capacity of up to 5,000 dishes per hour, an extended conveyor structure, and a 52 kW high-performance power system, MES-P3 is designed to support demanding foodservice operations with stable and efficient cleaning performance.

Ideal for central kitchens, airline catering facilities, large hospital dining centers, university campuses, factory canteens, and large-scale catering operations, MES-P3 can also be integrated into complete commercial warewashing lines, providing a comprehensive solution from dish collection to washing, rinsing, and sanitization.

Integrated Washing, Rinsing, and Drying Structure of MES-P3

The MES-P3 combines three processing stages in one continuous flight conveyor system. Each section performs a separate function, allowing tableware to move from dirty-side loading to clean-side discharge without being transferred between different machines.

Continuous Main Washing

The main washing section operates at approximately 55°C to 65°C.

Suitable tableware moves through the washing chamber on the flight conveyor while heated water is distributed through the spray system to remove food residue and surface contamination.

High-Temperature Rinsing

After washing, tableware passes through a high-temperature rinse section operating at approximately 82°C to 100°C.

This stage helps remove remaining detergent and supports hygienic processing before the tableware enters the drying section.

Integrated Drying

The MES-P3 includes a drying function after the high-temperature rinse stage.

This integrated arrangement helps reduce residual moisture before tableware reaches the discharge side, decreasing dependence on separate drying equipment or extended natural air-drying.

The final drying result may vary according to the tableware material, shape, loading position, conveyor speed, and operating conditions.

Flight Conveyor Transport

Unlike rack conveyor models, the MES-P3 allows suitable tableware to be placed directly onto the integrated conveyor.

This reduces separate basket-loading steps and supports continuous processing during concentrated meal periods.

How the MES-P3 Flight Type Dishwasher Works

The MES-P3 uses a continuous direct-loading workflow. Tableware moves automatically through washing, high-temperature rinsing, drying, and discharge.

Step 1: Pre-Scrape and Sort the Tableware

Large food residue should be removed before tableware enters the machine.

Items should be sorted according to their shape, dimensions, and loading direction to prevent excessive overlap and maintain sufficient spray coverage.

Step 2: Load Tableware onto the Flight Conveyor

Suitable plates, bowls, trays, cups, and other tableware are positioned directly on the conveyor.

The appropriate entrance width should be selected according to the tableware size and intended loading arrangement.

Step 3: Main Washing

The conveyor moves the items through the main washing section.

Heated water at approximately 55°C to 65°C is distributed through the spray nozzles to remove food residue and surface contamination.

Step 4: High-Temperature Rinsing

The tableware then enters the high-temperature rinse section.

Water at approximately 82°C to 100°C helps remove remaining detergent and prepares the items for drying.

Step 5: Drying

After rinsing, the tableware passes through the integrated drying section.

This stage reduces residual moisture before the processed items reach the clean-side discharge area.

Step 6: Clean-Side Collection

Processed tableware exits from the opposite side of the machine.

Staff can then inspect, sort, stack, store, or return the items to foodservice operations.

Applications of the MES-P3 Flight Type Dishwasher

The MES-P3 is designed for high-volume projects that require continuous direct tableware loading and an integrated drying stage.

Central Kitchens

Central kitchens processing tableware for schools, hospitals, catering facilities, restaurants, or meal-distribution operations can integrate the MES-P3 into a complete dirty-to-clean warewashing line.

The drying stage helps reduce post-rinse handling before tableware is sorted or stored.

Airline Catering Facilities

Airline catering operations may process repeated volumes of trays, plates, bowls, cups, and service items.

The conveyor width and tableware arrangement should be selected according to the actual dimensions and loading requirements of the catering items.

Large Hospital Dining Centers

Hospital foodservice operations process tableware according to multiple scheduled meal periods.

The continuous workflow helps organize tableware intake, washing, high-temperature rinsing, drying, and clean-side collection throughout the day.

University Campuses

University dining halls may need to process thousands of dishes during short lunch and dinner periods.

The MES-P3 supports continuous loading and can process up to 5,000 dishes per hour under suitable conditions.

Factory Canteens

Large factory canteens often use standardized plates, bowls, and trays during fixed meal breaks.

Direct conveyor loading reduces dependence on separate dishwashing racks and supports high-volume tableware turnover.

Large Catering and Event Operations

Catering centers processing tableware after conferences, weddings, banquets, and large events can use the integrated drying stage to reduce separate post-wash handling.
