A rack conveyor dishwasher (also called a rack-type conveyor dishwasher or rack conveyor warewasher) is a high-capacity commercial dishwashing machine designed for busy foodservice operations like restaurants, hotels, cafeterias, hospitals, and catering facilities. It handles large volumes of dishes continuously and efficiently.
Dishes, glasses, plates, bowls, cutlery, and trays are loaded into standard dish racks.
Operators slide the loaded rack onto a conveyor at the dirty end of the machine.
The conveyor automatically moves the rack through sequential zones: prewash (optional), wash (with detergent), power rinse, and final sanitizing rinse.
Clean racks exit at the other end, ready for air-drying or immediate use.
The process is continuous rather than batch-style, so new racks can be added as others move through.
Operation is straightforward: push the rack in until the conveyor engages (it often auto-starts), and the machine handles the rest at a set speed for proper dwell time in each zone.
The Rack Conveyor Dishwasher series offers strong washing capacity with Mes-M3 at 150 baskets per hour and Mes-M4/Mes-M5 at 200 baskets per hour, making it ideal for handling large volumes during peak hours while significantly reducing labor and dish backlog.
Unique "8"-shaped notched nozzle design provides stronger water pressure and a more even spray curtain, ensuring thorough cleaning of every piece of tableware.
Automatically refills water when low, stops when full, reheats when temperature drops, and stops once the set temperature is reached — effectively saving water and electricity while reducing operating costs.
Flexible quick-release cleaning arms can be easily detached and installed with a simple push-pull motion, making daily cleaning and maintenance fast and effortless.
Basket Size: 500 × 500 × 100mm (compatible with most commercial dish racks)
Washing Temperature: 55~65℃
Disinfection Temperature: 85~95℃
Power Supply: 380V/50Hz (customizable)
Equipped with reliable Schneider electrical components for stable performance. All doors feature automatic stop protection, and an overload protection device is installed at the discharge end for enhanced safety.
Mes-M3 handles 150 baskets per hour, while Mes-M4 and Mes-M5 deliver 200 baskets per hour. This makes them well-suited for medium to high-volume operations during peak hours.
Rack conveyor dishwashers are designed for continuous high-volume washing, while undercounter dishwashers are for small kitchens.
Restaurants, hotels, hospitals, schools, food factories, and catering centers.
Rack conveyor dishwashers are often compared to flight-type (or rackless) conveyors:
Rack Conveyor: Uses individual dishracks. More versatile for mixed loads, easier for one-person operation in some setups, and adaptable to different spaces. Better for operations with varied dish types or moderate-to-high volume (e.g., ~1,500 meals per rush period).
Flight-Type: Rackless; items are placed directly on a continuous peg-belt or "flight" conveyor. Usually larger and higher-capacity (400+ racks equivalent per hour), suited for very high-volume institutional settings (e.g., 500–2,000+ meals/hour). Requires more space and often at least two operators.
Rack types are generally more compact and flexible for many commercial kitchens, while flight types excel in massive, uniform high-throughput environments.
Washing temperature: 55~65℃
Disinfection temperature: 85~95℃
These temperatures ensure thorough cleaning and effective sanitization, meeting strict hygiene standards.
