Fully Automatic Dishwasher Put Into Use at Overseas School Canteen
We have recently completed the installation and commissioning of a full-automatic dishwasher for a large overseas school canteen. Officially put into stable daily operation, the equipment undertakes all tableware cleaning work for 2,000 teachers and students, completely solving the long-standing cleaning problems of the school canteen.
The project is delivered by MAYERS, one of the leading commercial dishwasher manufacturers in China specializing in industrial dishwashing systems and institutional kitchen automation equipment.
The school operates a high-volume central kitchen serving three daily meal periods. A wide range of tableware is used, including plates, soup bowls, meal trays, and irregular stainless steel cookware.
Before automation, the canteen relied entirely on manual dishwashing, requiring 7–8 staff working in shifts to manage daily cleaning workloads.
High labor dependency with 7–8 dishwashing staff per shift
Unstable cleaning quality with residual grease and food particles
Failure to consistently meet local hygiene and disinfection standards
No drying process, leading to moisture retention and odor issues
Increased risk of bacterial growth during storage
Frequent tableware shortages during peak meal periods
To address these challenges, a fully automatic dishwasher system was implemented, integrating washing, high-temperature disinfection, and hot air drying into a continuous workflow.
The system eliminates the need for manual secondary cleaning or wiping, allowing direct output of cleaned and dried tableware after processing.
Designed with food-grade stainless steel structure, the dishwasher conveyor system supports mixed tableware types without requiring pre-sorting, making it suitable for complex school kitchen environments.

Fully automatic washing, sanitizing, and drying integrated system
Continuous operation suitable for three daily meal peaks
High-temperature cleaning cycle for hygiene compliance
Compatible with mixed shapes of canteen tableware
Food-grade stainless steel construction for durability and hygiene
Simple operation interface with minimal training required
Energy-saving circulating water system
After installation, the system significantly improved cleaning efficiency and operational stability in the school canteen.
Compared with manual washing, cleaning efficiency increased by over 95%, while labor requirements were reduced from 7–8 workers to only 1–2 operators responsible for loading and unloading.
The integrated drying function eliminated moisture-related issues such as odor and bacterial growth, improving overall tableware hygiene quality.
Significant reduction in dishwashing labor costs
Improved cleaning consistency and hygiene stability
Faster turnaround during peak meal service periods
Reduced risk of hygiene compliance failures
Lower water and energy consumption
This system is suitable for large-scale institutional kitchens, including boarding schools, universities, hospitals, and centralized catering facilities.
In this project, the system supports continuous daily cleaning operations for approximately 2000 users, ensuring stable performance across all meal periods.
This installation represents a real-world application of automated dishwashing technology in a high-demand institutional environment. The system is engineered for continuous operation, long-term durability, and stable hygiene performance.
This newly installed dishwasher integrates cleaning, high-temperature disinfection and hot air drying in one process with no manual secondary work required. It adapts to all types and shapes of canteen tableware without pre-sorting. Its cleaning efficiency is over 95% higher than manual work, fully complying with local campus food hygiene standards.
Designed for high-intensity peak operation throughout three daily meals, the equipment is easy to operate with minimal staff training. Only 1 to 2 workers are needed for loading and unloading, greatly cutting labor costs. Meanwhile, the energy-saving circulating system reduces daily water and power consumption, bringing stable and cost-effective operation, and has won high recognition from the school logistics team.
MAYERS provides system customization, technical support, and operational training to ensure reliable performance in overseas institutional kitchen projects.
The fully automatic dishwasher installation provides a scalable automation solution for overseas school canteens. By integrating washing, disinfection, and drying into a continuous process, it significantly improves operational efficiency while reducing labor dependency and hygiene risks.
